Abstract:   (49 Views)
The view of the Holy Quran about creation, which is expressed in various surahs such as Al-Ala, Najm, Tariq, etc., has always been discussed. Among the doubts that are raised, it is related to the opening verses of Surah Tariq. Critics of the Qur'an are of the opinion that the divine book has made mistakes in these verses in order to show the origin of sexual cells.
This research intends to use the descriptive-analytical method to deal with the interpretive views and medical knowledge about verses 5 to 7 of Surah Tariq. Researches show that the views of contemporary commentators who consider "Ma Dafaq" to refer to a man's sperm, and also consider Salab and Triab to be about a man, are more compatible with lexical theories, modern medical data and current knowledge. The previous commentators have made mistakes in this regard and have not taken into account the lexical views, the context of the verses and other evidences, and therefore this verse has become a source of doubt based on the previous interpretations.
Keywords: Verses 5 to 7 of Surah Tariq, Salab and Taraib, human creation, Quran, medical knowledge., embryology
