| Each of the Muslim sects and groups have chosen different bases and methods to understand and explain the verses of the Holy Quran according to their religious beliefs. One of these sects is Deobandi, which has adopted a somewhat different method from other Sunni sects in the interpretation of the Holy Qur'an. Deobandi is intellectually divided into vital and mortal, hence they differ from each other in the principles and methods of interpreting the Qur'an and other religious issues; on this basis, it is necessary to focus on the principles and methods of this sect, exegetic examples of Deobandi interpretations should be expressed. The main question of the current research is the analysis and review of Deobandi interpretation samples. In order to get a suitable answer, reliable sources of Deobandi have been used and the result is that the main interpretation method of Deobandi is textualism. In the interpretation of the verses of vilayat, they interpreted them based on the foundations and presuppositions of the Sunnis, and in some cases, while accepting the narrations about Imam Ali (a) and Ahl al-Bayt (a), they justified the narrations in order to reject the Shia point of view. |
