Divine reward as understood by definite reasonable principles and theoretical foundations of Islam, particularly on the basis of the holy Quran, is of different grades and degrees and, in accordance to it, human beings are of different degrees and grades based upon their deeds and knowledge. Furthermore, the Quran has introduced various groups of the people of happiness with appropriate reward; as some examples, muqarrabun, abrar, muhsinin, salihin, muttaqin have been mentioned each with its own appropriate reward. The research has intended to study if one may compare the groups with regard to their special reward. Regarding the degrees of reward, may one separate the concepts? As understood in the study, determining the grades of the people of happiness in commenting the Quran along with surveying the grades of their reward is possible. The groups intended to be studied include muqarrabib, abrar, salihin, mu`minin, muttaqin, muhsinin and ibadallah. Another case of usage for the study lies in perceiving the meaning of the text on the basis of paradigmatic and syntagmatic relationships.
