Some intellectuals have relied upon this verse and viewed pluralism as true; on their comments all religions before Islam to be right. The part of the verse saying: whoever believeth in Allah and the Last Day and doeth right surely their reward is with their Lord, has taken by them a clear evident for pluralism. The paper relying on scientific considerations has argued that this verse and other verses in the field do not support such a view; on the contrary, they clearly ask the people of the book to believe in the Prophet (s). As is well-understood, with appearance of Islam validity of other religions ended and Islam has been divinely considered as the last religion for guiding all people.
