Abstract

Quranic meaning of the throne, arsh, has always attracted the attention of many scholars in the field. The question lies in the verses referring clearly to the throne and Divine mounting the throne and the problems pertaining to it. The subject has motivated religious scholars, specially those studying in the field of Quran, and, in this way, various views of the throne have been appeared. It has been intended in this paper to study the whatness of the throne as well as the problems pertaining to it as may be understood by the Quranic verses at first and then, to explain the most considerable views in the field. Of five views given on the throne, the fifth, in addition to its being methodical and comprehensive, regarding the outward meaning of the verses and avoiding any arbitrary meaning, has sought to give a clear commentary on the verses pertaining to the subject. As is understood by the paper, the throne has been Quranicly meant as the real centre therein all affairs, with their multiplicity and differences, regulate and issue in the world of creation.

Abstract

The what of kingdom and its related problems have been studied by commentators and Quranic scholars. The verses referring to kingdom, 83 of Yasin, 88 of Mo`menun, 75 of An`am and 185 of A`raf, caused various views in the field. The paper has intended to study the what of kingdom and its related problems as is understood from the holy Quran at first, and then to examine the most considerable views in the field. three views may be found among commentators spoken of as public aspect of intuition, inner reality and the position restricted only to Divine friends. The second view, in addition to presenting a clear and comprehensive comment in agreement with the verses, regarding objective sample for kingdom, has prevented its being predicated to a conventional meaning. On the view, therefore, kingdom is an inner reality in the order of Divine throne spoken of as Divine aspect of things with regard to directive relation among them and is related to Divine Command, guidance, Imamate, certainty and Throne.

Abstract

Confrontation between truth and falsehood as one Divine tradition has been and will be current all over the world for ever. According to 18 of Anbia, 81 of Asra, 17 of Ra`d and 48-49 of Saba` truth and falsehood encounter one another continuously and this encounter leads to truth`s triumph. Commentators have given different views on the grounds of truth`s victory over falsehood and hegemony of majority of false people in the field of politics, military and economics in various societies. Regarding the problem, Commentators have been divided into groups; some, limiting the meaning of truth and falsehood in the verses, have limit truth`s triumph to special fields of belief or true and false deed. Allamah Tabatabaei, however, has viewed the triumph to be in all outward and inward areas of society. The paper, meaning and area of the triumph and, finally, comments on the triumph in Almizan have been studied.

Abstract

Knowing the truth of Arsh-e Ilahi  has always been a complex and important issue for religious scholars and thinkers; the complexity of the problem lies in its usage in such noble verses of the Holy Quran as: "The Beneficent One, Who is established on the Throne" and related traditions that clearly speak of the Throne. Therefore, religious thinkers, including commentators and theologians, have researched this matter. The purpose of the current research is to examine the true concept of Throne, considering the need to know it in the field of cosmology, theology, and divine knowledge, so that in its shadow, a clear answer can be given to some ambiguities in the field. The research method is librarian and analytical and the result of the research is that the Throne is an independent truth and is of the type of unseen truths and in the order of immaterial worlds. What is meant by the truth of the Throne is the place of planning and management and Divine lordship and authority, which is the source of the world orders and all Divine orders lead to it.

Abstract

Investigating the quality and the way of measuring human actions in the resurrection is one of the topics focused on by commentators. The tools of this sensitive and influential assessment on human happiness are mentioned in the Holy Quran and various interpretations have been presented to analyze it. This research, using a descriptive-analytical method, by examining verses from twelve surahs in the Holy Qur'an and by emphasizing the keywords: weight, measure, and the book of deeds, has investigated the opinions of different commentators on the application of truth or metaphor of these categories. Some commentators have given a real meaning to "scale" and "book of deeds" and some believe that these topics have been used figuratively and verbally and only to convey the meaning. The Holy Qur'an aims to deal with a truth that in the supra-material world has a concept of its characteristics in the material world, thus by mentioning "scale and book" it seeks to apply this meaning to a truth in the ascending process. That feature can be implied and adapted to this word in the supernatural space. Therefore, the realist point of view as the chosen theory considers the intended meaning in measure and book - which includes measuring and recording actions in an accurate and perfect form - as a fact that has been conceptualized and can be semantically adapted to its independent truth.

Abstract

In the verse 125 of Surah Nahl, Almighty God has explained the types of calling to truth. Wisdom, good preaching and good argument are three types of calling to the truth. The main question of this article is: How the types of calling to truth are used in the verses of the Holy Qur'an? After analyzing verse 125 of Surah Nahl, this article has analyzed these ways in Surah Al-Baqarah as an example based on the survey and descriptive method and has recounted some examples of verses containing wisdom, good preaching, and good argument. The present study shows that the types of calling to the truth can be applied not only in Surah Baqarah, but in all the verses of the Holy Quran. It seems that these methods are used in all the surahs and verses of the Holy Quran. It is very effective to pay attention to the methods of calling to the right and their application in religious communication and propaganda.
