Ali Pirhadi, Maryam Rastgar, Saleh Hasanzade,
Volume 6, Issue 21 (Spring 2015)
Abstract

The principle of Divine grace, the idea of believers` non entrance into the Hell and the reason why of creating the Garden and the Hell for people of happiness and people of sin respectively, have put the verse 71 of Maryam among difficult verses. Commentators have sought very much to oppose any idea of disagreement with regard to other verses and reasons and in this way various views have been presented. Lack of a publicly accepted conclusion is a sign for not the problem not to be solved. Three approaches may be found in the commentary of the verse: in one the entrance has been taken to mean entering into, in another to mean dominance and the third is an ethical usage. Contrary to the most commentators, Allameh Tabtaba`I has paid a special attention to the problem. The paper, studying comprehensively and critically different commentaries, has viewed Allameh`s solution as the right one.

Parviz Rastgar, Ali Mohammadaghei,
Volume 8, Issue 29 (Spring 2017)
Abstract

One challengeable problem in commenting the Quran is that of “descending peace” in the verse 40 of Taubah, particularly noun of the pronoun “him” in: “Then Allah caused His peace of reassurance to descend upon him”. Fariqain Commentators have viewed on the verse based on some presuppositions and, therefore, failed to give correct and real view on it. Shiite scholars regard the pronoun as referring to the Prophet (s); while Sunni scholars have known it as returning to Abubakr and regard it as a great virtue for him. As is described in the paper, none of the two groups meet the truth in the field; as viewed in paper, the pronoun is a substitution for Abubakr but it may not be counted a virtue for him and God, the Exalted, by descending peace to Abubakr, kept the Prophet`s life; in other words, such a descending may be taken as a ground for keeping the Prophet`s life.

Maryam Rastgar, Ali Pirhadi, Abbas Mahdavi Fard,
Volume 13, Issue 51 (Autumn 2022)
Abstract

Verse 105 of Surah Tawba clearly talks about seeing actions by God, the Messenger (s) and the believers. In principle, there is no difference between the interpreters regarding the vision of the deeds from the side of God Almighty, but the main issue is the discussion of the vision of the Prophet (s) and the believers, as well as the example of "believers" in the verse, that there is a serious difference of opinion among the commentators. This article, after a comparative analysis of the views of the special and popular commentators and its analysis, has come to the conclusion that the common feature of the Imamiyyah and popular interpretations is that the verse is a threat and encouragement to the audience, along with moral and educational guidance, and in terms of differentiation. The view of the Imamiyyah has foundations and analysis, stating that with the belief in the infallibility of prophets and imams and the discussion of the inner authority along with Qur'anic, narrative and intellectual evidence, by explaining the vision as the mystical intuition of infallible imams as examples of believers, there is no hindrance in the interpretation of the verse. However, in the interpretations of popular commentators, in response to the main issues, due to the lack of belief in the above principles, coherence and logical explanation are not observed, and despite the efforts of some such as Fakhr Razi, a convincing answer is not found, and often it is a superficial interpretation. They have not provided a decisive interpretation of the previous verse.
