@article{ author = {TayyebHoseini, Seyyed Mahmoo}, title = {A Critical Study on Commentators\' Viewpoints about Prophet\'s Asking Forgiveness from Sins in the Verse 55 of Surah Al-Ghafir}, abstract ={The verse 55 of Surah Al-Ghafir is among the verses being considered to be in challenge with the infallibility of the last Prophet. In this verse, it has been ordered to the God’s Messenger to ask forgiveness for his sins. Suggesting a commentary of this verse, some commentators have attempted to declare that the Prophet is innocent but all of them were not successful equally. Reporting and criticizing ten viewpoints regarding commentaries of this verse, and relying on the trend, time and context of the verse revelation, the objective behind blaming the Prophet was for those thoughts came to his mind due to the Prophet's human nature in respect to those difficult conditions in Mecca in that he thought God’s promise was slow in helping the Prophet and the true believers. Based upon commentary methods of commentators’, it is inferred that all of them are in full agreement on infallibility of the Prophet in this verse. Even those who believe in venial sins or the sins before the prophetic mission have been seeking the way for commenting all the verses such as the above-mentioned one in such a manner proving the Prophet’s infallibility but they have not been completely successful.}, Keywords = {Verse 55 of Al-Ghafir, Prophet’s Asking Forgiveness, Prophet’s Sins, Prophet’s Infallibility}, volume = {5}, Number = {19}, pages = {7-24}, publisher = {The Office of Supreme Leaders Representatives in Universities}, url = {http://tafsir.maaref.ac.ir/article-1-1417-en.html}, eprint = {http://tafsir.maaref.ac.ir/article-1-1417-en.pdf}, journal = {Journal of The Holy Quran And Islamic Texts}, issn = {2228-7256}, eissn = {2228-7256}, year = {2014} } @article{ author = {Ghasempour, Mohse}, title = {Analytical and Comparative Study of Commentary of the Verse Sanctioning against Marriage with Polytheists}, abstract ={Diversity of commentators' opinions about explanation of polytheism along with the claim that verse 221 of  Al-Baqara is obsolete and discusses the subject of avoiding marriage with polytheists, has added to the difficulty of understanding this verse. According to the prevalent attitude among the Fariqain commentators about this problem, there is no problem regarding marrying the people of the book. Finally, based upon Shiite commentators and jurisprudents' viewpoint, this permission is inclined toward temporary marriage and since among the Sunni scholars temporary marriage is not permitted, permanent marriage is included. This attitude is emerged from interpretation of polytheism about the people of the book based on which we can say that polytheism has ranks and viewpoint of those commentators believing in polytheism of the people of the book and accordingly the decree of lack of permission to marry polytheist women has been expanded to the people of the book should be attributed to some of their sects, not all of the people of the book. Therefore, the first source of citation and extraction of the provisions is among the Fariqain jurisprudents. The present study is a comparison between two jurisprudential viewpoints of Fariqain in jurisprudential verses of Hajj. Despite the fact that there seems to be outstanding and significant misalignments and inconsistencies between these two groups about interpretation of religious orders of the Holy Quran, but rigorous and precise analyzes is indicative of their alignment and consistency about provisions of Hajj so that there is no disagreement among the views of Imami Shia and some of the four Sunni religions. For many of the Sunni commentators, imamate in this verse is literally known as Muqtada and leader, and about prophet Ibrahim, they have taken it as religious leader or leader in religion having the meaning of prophecy. Citing and referring to other verses of the Holy Quran, AllamehTabatabaie has criticized the proposed ideas by the Sunni commentators about synonymy of Imamate with Prophecy. By proposing the interpretation of the prophets' guidance to showing the way, iraiyi tariq, and that of Imam's to connecting to the desired, isali il almatlub, and also by focusing on the verse tried, ibtila, he has introduced a new theory about Imam's knowledge. Human being has been, even physiologically, of such a position that one may not find in any other creature and, as is understood, it shows God`s particular attention to human, the advantage all human beings enjoy it innately. The source of this rule refers to the verses which have universal word and particular occasion. The referent of the rule is also a kind of generalization in the commentary of the verse based on the need to departure from revelation case. Features of this rule are: distinction of the provisions of the rule from provisions of the essentiality of application, relativity of specificity, generality and generalization at the level of developmental commentary. This rule is not current in relation to "universal word and universal occasion" and "specific word and specific occasion" about which generalization is meaningless. Since generalization means generalization of decree and in narrating history in historical verses there is no decree, this rule would not be current in these types of verses, too.
