A Comparative Study of the Implications of Verses 7 and 8 of Ahzab on the World of Dharr in the Interpretive Thought of Allameh Tabatabai and Allameh Fazlollah

| Allameh Tabatabai in his commentary of Al-Mizan, in discussing verses 7 and 8 of Surah Al-Ahzab, considers these two verses as implicitly referring to the world of dharr. Allama Fazlullah, however, disagrees this theory and does not know the meaning of those verses as referring to the world of dharr. Considering the analysis of both commentators on the truth of the world of dharr and explaining its characteristics, and considering the nature of Allameh Tabatabai's philosophical discussions in presenting interpretive discussions as well as his cosmological principles which are reflected in his numerous works and according to the evidence in the verses according to the authors, which confirms Allameh Tabatabai's interpretation, it can be argued that Allameh Tabatabai's view on the meaning of these two verses on the world of dharr - which is a new theory - is a reasoned statement and has a high degree of conviction. |
